terri200Terri Sherman, Aurora’s founder and principal, has worked in the senior healthcare industry for over two decades. She currently owns and operates several skilled nursing facilities. In this capacity, she develops and oversees the entire financial operational framework.

Terri generated strategic acquisition opportunities and successful financing plans for her ownership portfolio, which resulted in the addition of four skilled nursing facilities. She also serves as the primary liaison between lenders and facility operations to ensure clear, verifiable and achievable results—experience that proves invaluable to Aurora clients.

Her consulting expertise spans many areas, including the preparation of financial feasibility studies, third-party reimbursement issues, operational audits and re-engineering system reviews.

She has analyzed numerous merger and acquisition transactions, conducted several productivity reviews and led a range of strategic planning sessions. Terri’s knowledge also includes the development of managed care contracting and reporting arrangements.
